Apostolos Pappas is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Biology and Chemistry. He, currently, holds the position of Marketing Manager for Cardiometabolics at ELPEN pharmaceuticals.
He has more than 20 years experience in strategic fields of pharma industry holding senior positions in major pharma companies, managing innovative as well as generic products.
He also acts as the head liaison, responsible for the very successful cooperation between ELPEN pharmaceuticals and the leading multinationals Bayer, Novartis and Takeda. His leading role in the strategic alliances between pharma companies in the chronic disease field, gives him a unique point of view of the global pharmaceutical present and future.
During his career, he has worked in the therapeutic areas of acute and chronic cardiometabolic diseases, and has conducted numerous lectures in medical congresses and pharmaceutical industry meetings, presenting the pharma industry outlook and future directions to health care professionals.
